Advocacy
Being a part of TCA means being a part of larger voice that strives to sustain and grow Toronto’s construction industry. Our voice is representative of over 300,000 industry practitioners who share the values of honesty, integrity and respect as they relate to conducting business.
As part of our commitment to the industry we work closely with the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) and the Council of Ontario Construction Association (COCA) to represent the views and act as the voice of our members.
Some of the issues we've been tackling and advocating on include:
- Ontario Construction Lien Act Review Report
- 100 recommendations on amending the province’s current construction legislation – including the introduction of a prompt payment regime as well as adjudication to resolve disputes.
