A progressive medium size ICI contractor located in Mississauga is seeking to hire an experienced intermediate estimator immediately with a minimum of 3 years experience in the GTA region. The incumbent must have a solid knowledge of preparing estimates, including comprehensive experience in assembling quantities and preparing budgets. Other duties and responsibilities will include attending site visits, uploading information on FTP sites, distributing trade invitation notices, telephone contact follow up and discussion with trades and analysis of tenders and bids on closing. The candidate must also be able to review specifications and drawings for consistency and accuracy and shall report to the Chief Estimator. The position also requires a solid command of both written and oral English skills and a valid driver's license including an automobile. Remuneration and company benefits will be negotiated accordingly based on experience.
