Criteria
- Must be a TCA Member
- If selected and not a member, opportunity to join is presented immediately
- Effectiveness as:
- A Leader
- Change agent
- Ethical practices
- High environmental practices
- High safety standards
- Performance on site
- Co-operative "partner" with regard to excellent working relationships
- Involvement
- Industry, TCA and Community
- A specialty contractor is defined as a contractor whose role in the normal course of business is not as a general contractor. It includes all trade groups and any member who is designated a part of TCA's Trade Division
- The intent is to identify and honour the best specialty contractor in the industry in a given year
- The nomination(s) will be made by the Project's Prime Contractor
