2009 TIPTA WINNER!

GE Security Canada is the 2009 TIPTA Winner. The decision of the judges recognized GE Security's innovative adaption of multiple existing technologies. Their proven EST3 life safety fire alarm system, an established graphical control interface, VoIP communications protocol, and fibre-optic communications were all combined into a "Mass Notification/Emergency Communications (MNEC) system," designed to provide a sophisticated response to any emergency situation within a building complex.

This new technology is code driven. GE Security Canada has met the challenge of the newly developed code with the introduction of their EST3-Sixty Mass Notification / Emergency Communications system.

The award was accepted by Tony Mezenberg, Manager of Commercial Applications for GE Security in Canada.
