The TCA Physical Plans Room is a location for contractors and suppliers to view construction drawings & specifications out for tender.
The Physical Plans Room is an additional subscription and only available to TCA Basic Members. We have two physical plans room locations, one in Mississauga (Mon-Fri 8:15 am to 5:00 pm) and one in Richmond Hill (Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 5:00 pm).
Additional service subscribers have the advantage of:
- Receive a projects list two times in a week by email
- Can sign out tender documents. For your convenience, we have drop-off facilities outside the locations
- Making photocopies with a copy card
- Print drawings at a minimal fee
- Access other associations' projects list

An electronic plans room provides around-the-clock online access to construction project drawings, specifications and addenda. An EPR membership provides the following advantages:

How Much Does it Cost?
TCA Electronic Plans Room (EPR) is offered as an annually service that has unlimited access throughout
the year. The EPR service gives you access to the Provincial Plans Room
- meaning that as a TCA EPR user you can purchase projects from other Associations at a per project basis.

What are the Hardware Requirements?
Windows 95 or newer and Internet Explorer 5.5 or a more recent upgrade. In order to view the documents on line you need a Java
plug-in. No additional software is required.
How Much Disk Space Do I Need?
Downloaded plans are about 1 MB each.
How many projects has the TCA's EPR handled to date?
Beginning in 2000, we handled 800 projects with 150 corporate members and 300 individual users. This has grown to 1,039 projects
with 529 corporate users and 1,100 individual users in 2007. Since 2000, TCA's Physical and EPR has handled over 7,800 projects in total.
How is TCA's EPR managed?
Five full-time employees handle different aspects of the physical and electronic plans rooms, balancing the copies of each project
at the Mississauga and Toronto locations. Our staff are educated to handle your questions and help make every visit fast and efficient.
